G1sB "Genesis CE"  overview

The Genesis Solo G1sB is identical as the G1sa kit built model but with some upgrades in appearance and construction. The G1sa has been flying since 2007 with more than 250 hours on the prototype in aggressive testing (check some of our videos in "Gallery" section).  13 gyros have been produced so far and all pilots are happy not only with stability and safety but also with its performance and maneuverability. The bolt on construction is VERY strong. Most Gyroplanes have a single tube or 2 tubes welded on top to each other, in front of the mast to support the pilot and nose wheel. The "Genesis Solo" uses a TRIANGULATED construction (3 tubes forming a pyramid). That is light but offers the best pilot protection in the event of an accident. It is much superior than the single metal tube (or 2 stacked on top of each other) that is commonly used on other gyroplanes.

Also the bolted frame can be easily repaired  compared to the welded construction that needs the complete frame to be replaced. Only damaged parts can be replaced. The aluminum Alloy and construction method we use has been around for many decades and proved to be very reliable, strong, service and crack free as well as corrosion resistant.

 

The design is perfectly balanced with the engine thrust passing at the center of mass and the tails are designed to offer grate dynamic stability and ENGINE TORQUE compensation, making this gyroplane one of the easiest and safest to fly. Aggressive engine power changes have NO effect on roll, pitch and yaw. Changing power will have a gentle attitude change to maintain trim speed. The controls are crisp, responsive and very light.

The Certified version has a nicer composite nose pot, bigger fuel tank,  better wheel brakes and 2 types of undercarriage to choose from. Is equipped with VSI, ALT, ASI, water and exhaust gas temperature gages, Engine and Rotor RPM, fuel gage, hour meter, 12V outlet, strobe and landing light, prerotator, rotor brake, suspension undercarriage, 4 point harness, electric starter. The engine is Rotax 582 UL. Rotax 912 UL is optional.

Items like VSI, Landing light, Strobe light, 12V outlet, Electric trim etc are STANDARD in our Gyroplanes. Other manufacturers will charge an extra 1000 - 2000 euros for them.....
