Booster Prerotator

The lightest effective prerotator in the world.

This prerotator has been designed to be the lightest effective prerotator in the market today.

It can give a Positive boost of up to 280 rotor RPM. The concept of operation is completely deferent than the rest of the prerotators available today. This system is designed to be engaged during the complete ground run and to be disengaged after take off.

Wile the gyroplane is stationary the prerotator can spin the blades up to 120-150 RRPM, as soon as you get the maximum static RRPM you can start the ground run with prerotator still engaged. The airflow will then assist the prerotator to  accelerate the blades very rabidly to flying RRPM.

This system IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ROTORS LONGER THAN 25 FEET.

The initial acceleration is very slow (0-30 RRPM takes 30 seconds) and does not stress the rotor system. After 30 RRPM acceleration is faster but still "gentle" on the rotor system. (30 - 130 RRPM 40 seconds).
